Lala

**Note: Lala is currently in a foster home in Vancouver.

Background: Lala’s journey began when she was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Chungju, Korea, last fall. She was fortunate to find refuge in our partner boarding house, where she lived harmoniously with other dogs until she left Korea. Currently, Lala resides in Vancouver with a foster family along with two FKD alumni, with whom she is very bonded.

Personality and Socialization: Lala was initially shy and skittish around strangers, but she has become very socialized while staying at her current foster home. She has learned a lot from her foster siblings and dedicated foster moms. Although she is still a bit cautious around strangers and men, once she gets to know them, she becomes very sweet and loving.

Lala thrives when she is with other dogs, becoming more confident, happy, and trusting. Her foster mom, who works at a dog daycare, used to take Lala there, where she loved spending time and interacting with other dogs. As long as they are friendly and not bossy, Lala gets along great with them.

Behaviors: Lala is a lively and playful dog who loves going for walks and spending time outdoors. She enjoys zoomies and playing with other dogs, so her ideal adopter should definitely have another fur companion to keep her company. Lala is great in the car, enjoys taking baths, and walks well on a leash. However, she doesn’t like being left alone for long periods, and having another dog around helps ease her anxiety.

Health: Lala is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. She also takes monthly preventatives for internal and external parasites. She’s a healthy girl, ready to bring peace and love to her forever home.

Ideal Home: Ideally, Lala’s perfect adopter would be a family residing in a tranquil neighborhood and leading a relaxed lifestyle. This environment will help her thrive and feel secure. The presence of another friendly furry companion is an absolute must for Lala’s overall happiness and well-being. Someone with dog experience who either works from home or is retired, allowing them ample time to spend with their furry babies, would be perfect.
