** Note: Angel is currently in Korea, but we are seeking her forever home in the Greater Vancouver Area. Her flight to Vancouver is scheduled for August 24.

Background: Earlier this year, Angel was rescued from a puppy mill in Namyangju, Korea, where she spent her life in a cramped, filthy cage with no access to light. After enduring a dark existence filled with forced breeding for profit, Angel’s story is one of resilience and hope. Currently, she lives with other small dogs at our partner boarding house.

Personality and Socialization: Angel earned her name because she is gentle, sweet, and friendly, just like an angel. She has a moderate energy level and is quite laid-back, easygoing, and obedient. Angel gets along well with other dogs, provided they are friendly and gentle. She is wonderful with people, showing affection without being overly demanding. Always eager to be around her humans, she enjoys spending time together and is very obedient.

Behaviors: Angel is still learning to use pee pads and is getting better at it. While she’s getting used to walking on a leash, she doesn’t have much experience yet but enjoys playing outside and relaxing. She likes toys, doesn’t mind baths or grooming, and is okay with car rides. She is very quiet indoors and easy-going.

Health and Diet: Having undergone thorough veterinary care, including vaccinations and microchipping, Angel receives monthly internal and external parasite preventatives to ensure her well-being. She has completed her dental work, which included scaling. She is missing several teeth but has no trouble eating. Angel had patella luxation surgery in May. She is now healthy and ready for her forever home.

Angel enjoys her dry kibbles and she is fed twice daily. Currently, there are no known allergies.

Ideal Home: An ideal companion for Angel would be an individual who works remotely or is retired, providing ample time to spend with their cherished pet. Patience will be essential as Angel gets used to her new surroundings, but the affection and devotion she offers are priceless. If you’re searching for a loving and social friend to bring joy to your life, Angel would make a fantastic addition to your family!
