Bandabi

Background: Bandabi was rescued alongside her sister, Jolmang, from a city pound in Chuncheon, Korea, in September 2024 as part of the “Save 100 Dogs” initiative. Since their rescue, the two sisters have been staying at our partner shelter with other dogs, receiving care, and preparing to find their forever homes.

Personality and Socialization: Bandabi is a very sweet and gentle little girl. She shows all the classic puppy behaviors—loving, cuddly, and affectionate with people. Despite her young age, she’s calm and independent, making her easygoing and adaptable. Bandabi greets everyone, even strangers, with a wagging tail. She enjoys the company of other dogs but prefers playing with those her size and tends to be a little cautious around larger dogs. Bandabi has not been introduced to cats or small children yet.

Behaviour: Bandabi is a calm, happy puppy who adapts well to new experiences. She handles car rides, vet visits, and baths without any issues. Her independence and gentleness suggest a low likelihood of separation anxiety although it can change in a different environment. She enjoys playing with toys and chewing on them, always having fun during playtime.

Bandabi is still learning the ropes of potty training. She currently prefers using pee pads indoors but will also go outside when needed. She walks well on a leash, though she may feel a little unsure when encountering larger dogs.

Health and Diet: Bandabi is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. She also receives monthly internal and external parasite prevention. Her diet consists of dry kibble twice a day, and she has no known allergies or medical concerns.

Ideal Home: Bandabi would thrive in a home where she receives lots of love and attention. She would do well with a family who has someone at home most of the time to give her the affection she loves. Bandabi would be happy as the only dog or as a second dog in the family. This sweet and calm girl would make a wonderful addition to any home looking for a loving companion.
