Chamae

Our regular method of transporting dogs using flight volunteers has drastically decreased due to current flight/travel restrictions. An alternative, quicker option of flying via cargo can be made available, although at a greater financial cost. The cost can range from $1000 CAD to $2600 CAD depending on the size and weight of the dog, airline, and destination city. Dogs traveling via cargo will be able to arrive sooner as they are not dependent on travelers to bring them.

Chamae was one of 69 dogs rescued from Dangjin dog meat farm in Korea last fall. As you can see in the videos and photos, she loves to be around people; very affectionate and sweet. She will follow and play with anyone.

While Chamae is awesome with people, she is selective when it comes to dogs. Also, she has a strong prey drive and will likely chase cats or small dogs. Chamae has been living with trainers in dog school for over a year. She has done well, but it is possible that she may never become fully comfortable around other animals.

We are specifically looking for someone who has extensive experience with dogs and lives in a house with a fenced in backyard in a quiet neighborhood. A home with no other pets is also a must.

Vaccination Details

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
