Daekbak

Background: Daebak was rescued from a city pound in Chuncheon, Korea this spring, as part of the “Save 100 Dogs Project.” After spending two long years at the pound, he was saved and has since been living with other dogs at our partner boarding house. Now, Daebak is ready to find his forever home.

Personality & Socialization: Daebak is a sweet, medium-energy dog who thrives on human connection. His favorite thing in the world is hanging out with his people, and he’s great with everyone, including men and strangers. While he gets along well with other dogs, he prefers calm companions over bossy or overly energetic ones. Although he coexists well with other dogs, Daebak isn’t very playful with them—his true happiness comes from quietly spending time with his humans. After the hardships of his life at the pound, all Daebak longs for is a peaceful home where he can be loved and cherished.

Behaviors: Daebak is well-behaved and easygoing. He walks nicely on a leash and is comfortable using pee pads, though he prefers to potty outdoors when given the chance. He’s easygoing at the vet and always gets compliments (and treats!). Daebak is also fine with baths and grooming. Quiet and gentle, he’s a loving dog who will bring warmth and companionship to any home.

Health and Diet: Daebak is in good health and has received all necessary veterinary care. He’s vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and takes monthly flea/tick/mosquito prevention. He currently eats dry kibble twice a day.
