Background: Danbi was rescued from a city pound in Chuncheon, Korea, as part of the “Save 100 Dogs” project this summer. Since then, she’s been living with other dogs at our partner shelter, waiting for her forever family.

Personality and Socialization: Danbi is a calm and sweet little baby with a medium to low energy level. While she may be a bit shy at first, she warms up quickly, especially with people who show her love—she seems to sense it and becomes glued to them in no time! Danbi is great with people and does well with other dogs, particularly those of similar size and gentle demeanor. She’s not overly playful but enjoys the company of her canine friends. Overall, Danbi is a quiet, gentle, and submissive sweetheart.

Behaviors: Danbi is fairly independent, though she loves being near her humans. When left alone, she’ll quietly sit in a corner and observe her surroundings. She’s an easy-going and undemanding companion who has not shown any destructive behaviors. Danbi is great in the car, at the vet, and during baths. While her leash-walking experience is limited, she’s done well so far, happily following her humans on outdoor adventures.

Health and Diet: Danbi is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. She takes monthly Nexgard Spectra for parasite prevention and has tested negative for heartworm and other parasites. She eats dry food twice a day and has no known allergies.

Ideal Home: Danbi is an easy-going girl who thrives on being close to her humans. She’d be a perfect match for someone working from home or retired, looking for a quiet and gentle companion. Danbi could also be a great second dog and is well-suited for first-time dog parents. This lovely little girl has been patiently waiting for her forever family—who will be the lucky ones to bring her home?
