Get monthly updates about dogs like Dochi and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.

Dochi and his family were found in the remote mountains last fall and sent to a city pound and faced euthanasia. It was so lucky that they were all saved and got adopted except for Dochi and his mother, Eomji.

Dochi currently lives in a foster home (in Korea) and is still working on building his confidence. He is shy and timid, but has made a lot of progress and is getting comfortable with his foster family. He is still scared of strangers’ touch but is very submissive.

This boy has a lot of potential, as we have already seen him blossom and open up. He is treat-motivated, which helps him associate strangers with positive things. Dochi also loves to play with other dogs and is most happy and confident around them.

The ideal adopter is someone who has experience working with shy dogs, with the patience and understanding to help him settle at his own pace. We are specifically looking for a home with a secure yard, as well as another friendly dog he can mirror. Dochi has a lot to learn but also has a lot of potential.

Dochi is available for adoption. The fee to adopt Dochi is $780.

Note: US adopters are responsible for customs clearance fee, which is approximately $140 USD.
