Background: Doori was rescued in January 2024 from the streets of Hanam-si, South Korea, along with his mother and his sibling. After being rescued, he was placed in foster care where he began to adjust to a safer and more stable life.
Socialization and Personality: Doori is a gentle and affectionate dog with a friendly personality. Though he may be a little shy at first, he quickly warms up to people. He is sociable with both adults and children, and he enjoys the company of other dogs. Doori has a calm demeanor, making him easy to live with.
Behaviours: Doori has an average energy level and enjoys moderate exercise. He is generally a quiet dog, only barking when startled by loud noises or sudden sounds. Doori is expected to have no issues with separation anxiety, and he should adjust well to being left alone for short periods, making him a good fit for a family with a busy schedule. He doesn’t have any particular chewing habits, making him a low-maintenance companion in that regard. When it comes to potty training, Doori prefers to go potty outside rather than using pee pads, which is a great sign of his desire to maintain a clean environment. He travels well in the car and enjoys the ride without any issues. During bath time, Doori remains calm and quiet, making it an easy process for both him and his caregivers. He enjoys his walks and is well-behaved on a leash, making outdoor outings an enjoyable experience for both him and his family. Doori is accustomed to visiting the vet and behaves well during check-ups, showing that he is comfortable with routine healthcare.
Health and Diet: Doori is in great health, having had perineal hernia surgery at 2 months old, from which he has fully recovered. Doori has completed his vaccinations and has no known allergies. He is fed regular dry food and does well on it.
