Heidi

Background: Heidi was rescued this past spring from a neglectful situation where she was tied to a pole and left without proper care. After being brought to our partner boarding house, it was discovered she was pregnant. In June, Heidi gave birth to five healthy puppies.

Personality and Socialization: Heidi is a loving, sociable girl with a gentle and sweet nature. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and was even friendly and calm during her pregnancy. Heidi enjoys being around people, including men, and is not shy around strangers. With her medium energy level, she’s the perfect balance of playful and relaxed.

Behavior: Heidi loves her walks and outdoor time, but she’s also quiet and content to play alone indoors. She’s not destructive and is well-behaved at home. Heidi has impressed everyone at her vet checkups with her calm demeanor and was praised for being such a good girl. She’s great in the car, during baths, and is obedient and easygoing in new situations.

Health and Diet: Heidi is in excellent health, with no known allergies. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and receives monthly parasite prevention. She is currently fed dry kibble twice a day.

Ideal Adopter: Heidi would thrive in a home with someone who enjoys a relaxed lifestyle and has plenty of time to spend with her. She’s one of the most gentle and loving dogs in our care, and whoever adopts her will be incredibly lucky to have such a sweet companion.
