Jimmy 2

**Note: Jimmy is currently in a foster home in Toronto.

Background: Jimmy was rescued from a city pound in Chuncheon, Korea, in November 2024. He lived at our boarding house, with other dogs until he left Korea. Currently, he is in a foster home in Toronto.

Personality and Socialization: Jimmy has a calm, low-to-medium energy level. He is quiet, gentle, and sweet with a submissive nature. While he may take a moment to observe new people, he warms up quickly and enjoys being around humans. He thrives in peaceful environments and loves spending time with his people, simply hanging out and enjoying their company.

With other dogs, Jimmy prefers calm and well-mannered companions. He feels uneasy around hyperactive or dominant dogs and would much rather be in a quiet setting than a busy dog park. He has no experiences with young children or cats.

Behaviour: Jimmy has been a well-mannered and quiet resident at the boarding house. He is good in the car, cooperative during baths, and behaves well at vet visits. He prefers to do his potty business outside but will use indoor pee pads when necessary.

While he followed his handlers well, he is still adjusting to leash walking in new environments and can get a little nervous. With patience and encouragement, he will continue to gain confidence.

Health and Diet: Jimmy is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He receives monthly parasite prevention, and his health screenings have shown no concerns. He eats dry kibble twice a day and has had no known allergies.

Ideal Home: Jimmy is an easygoing and loving dog. He would do best in a calm home with someone who has time to spend with him—whether they work from home or are retired. He is food-motivated and eager to please, making him easy to train.
