Background: Jueun was rescued from a city pound in Chuncheon, Korea, during the summer of 2024 as part of the “Save 100 Dogs” project. After her rescue, she spent time in a foster home in Korea. She is now being cared for in a foster home in Vancouver.
Personality and Socialization: Jueun is a sweet and gentle pup with an affectionate and loving nature. She embodies all the endearing traits of a puppy—cuddly, playful, and eager to bond with people. She greets everyone with a wagging tail, including strangers, and enjoys interacting with other dogs – she is very sociable and friendly.
Behaviour: Jueun is a happy, playful girl who adjusts easily to new situations. She does well with car rides, vet visits, and baths without any fuss. She has shown no separation anxiety at the foster home so far, though this could vary in a new environment. Jueun is not destructive and is well-behaved while staying at the foster home. She is good on the leash and loves outdoor time and activities.
Health and Diet: After she was rescued, Jueun underwent patella luxation surgery on her hind legs. She has now completely healed and is ready for her forever home. Jueun is spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on vaccinations. She also receives monthly treatments for internal and external parasite prevention. Her diet consists of dry kibble twice a day, and she has no known allergies or health issues.
Ideal Home: Jueun would thrive in a home where she is showered with love and attention. A family that has someone around most of the time to dote on her would be ideal. She would do well as the only dog in the household or as a second dog. This gentle, loving girl is ready to bring joy and companionship to any family lucky enough to have her.
