Kaka was found on the side of the road in Masan, Korea in 2017. He was covered in blood and his eyes were swollen from so much crying and pain. He was taken to the vet but sadly, the vet had to remove one of his back legs that was trampled under the wheel. He was hospitalized for a few months until he was fully recovered.
Kaka lived in a private shelter with other dogs for about a year. Currently, he lives with a foster in Toronto.
Kaka is social, sweet, friendly and optimistic. He was one of the most popular dogs among dogs and shelter volunteers. It is impossible not to like him.
A walking wheel was originally provided to Kaka, but he didn’t like it; everytime when he was put on the wheel, he became sad and frustrated. Eventually, the shelter manager stopped trying. Now Kaka has no problem walking around.
Kaka will come to Toronto to find his forever home and will attend the PetSmart Etobicoke adoption event on Feb 29 and Mar 1 from 11-3pm.
