Background: Little Kong was rescued from the Gongju city shelter in Korea earlier this year in March. She was so lucky to be saved from being euthanized. After living at a different shelter for a while, she joined our partner boarding house last month. She currently lives with other dogs, waiting for her forever family to find her and provide the life she truly deserves.
Personality & Socialization: This adorable girl is overflowing with affection and isn’t shy about showing it! She loves making friends, whether it’s with other playful pups of any size or new people she meets—strangers included. While she hasn’t been around cats or young children yet, she’s proven to be a friendly, social butterfly. With her joyful spirit and playful energy, she brings happiness wherever she goes.
Behaviors: Kong is a sweet girl that does well just about anywhere. She’s great with car rides and really shows off her friendly sweet traits even at her vet visits. Kong is an excellent leash walker who handles baths with ease. She is currently pee pad trained. Her friendly and positive personality shines through her behaviors making her a joy to be around.
Health and Diet: Kong is spayed, fully vaccinated, and dewormed. She receives monthly internal and external parasite preventatives to keep her healthy. When she was first rescued, Kong tested positive for heartworms, but she completed her treatment successfully and is now heartworm-free. Recently, she also had dental work, including two extractions and scaling. Kong currently enjoys her dry kibble meals twice a day and has shown no signs of allergies. She’s now in great health and ready to find her loving forever home!
Ideal Home: Kong would thrive in a household that has someone home full time, who’s able to spend time with her and go for fun walks with her throughout the day. She is ready to show and share all the love and affection she’s been waiting to give to her forever family. Her positive and friendly personality will be a great addition to any home.
