Ludia

Background: Ludia was one of 100 dogs rescued from a city pound in Chuncheon, Korea, last fall. Since then, she has been living at our boarding house, patiently waiting for her forever family.

Personality and Socialization: Ludia is a happy, affectionate, and playful girl with medium to high energy. She is very social, smart, and obedient—she listens well and loves human attention. With people, she is gentle and sweet, always eager to share love and cuddles.

When it comes to other dogs, Ludia has a more dominant personality and likes to take the lead. She also tends to get jealous easily. For this reason, she would thrive as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention without feeling the need to compete.

Behavior and Training: Ludia is an adaptable and happy girl who enjoys life’s little adventures. She does well in the car, at the vet, and even during bath time. She walks well on a leash and loves spending time outdoors. Playing with her toys brings her joy, and while she prefers to do her business outside, she is also pee pad-trained.

Health and Diet: After being rescued, Ludia underwent treatment for heartworms and anaplasmosis. She has fully recovered and is now a healthy, happy girl, ready for her forever home. She takes monthly parasite prevention and is microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and scheduled to be spayed in March after her heat cycle. Ludia eats kibble twice a day and has shown no signs of allergies.

Ideal Home: Ludia loves being around people and would thrive in a home where someone is home most of the time—such as a retiree or someone who works from home. She enjoys being an important part of the family’s daily life. Since she can be jealous of other dogs, she would be happiest as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love and attention she deserves. Ludia is a happy, affectionate, and lovable girl. Whoever adopts her will be incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful companion!
