Lulu

Background: Lulu was found chained in the middle of a cabbage field in Pocheon, Korea, during the scorching summer of 2022. She was kept outside to guard the field but was only fed food scraps once a week and often left without water in the unbearable heat. With no shade for relief, she endured harsh conditions until her rescue. Since then, she has spent time at dog training school and joined our boarding house last winter, where she now lives with other dogs.

Personality and Socialization: Lulu is an easygoing, affectionate, and playful dog who loves being around people. She is always eager to please and thrives on human interaction. Lulu adores everyone she meets, including men and strangers, making her a true people’s dog. While she gets along well with dogs of all sizes, she is mostly indifferent to them—her heart belongs to her humans.

Behaviour: Smart, obedient, and full of energy outdoors, Lulu is the perfect companion for an active person who enjoys hiking or spending time outside. She’s great in the car, well-behaved during baths, and calm at the vet. While she has high energy outside, she is relaxed and independent indoors, happily playing with her toys or resting. Lulu is house-trained and uses pee pads when needed. She is also quiet and rarely barks.

Health and Diet: Lulu is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and takes monthly parasite preventatives. However, her front upper and lower teeth are worn from chewing on chains before her rescue, but a vet check confirmed there is no gum or nerve damage. She had dental scaling and has no issues eating. Lulu underwent surgery for hemorrhoids.

She enjoys her kibble twice a day and has shown no allergies.

Ideal Home: Lulu is a loving and loyal companion looking for a home where she can spend plenty of time with her humans. She would thrive with someone who enjoys outdoor adventures and wants a dog to share them with. While she’s easygoing, her happiest moments are spent exploring the outdoors with her person by her side. Whoever adopts Lulu will be incredibly lucky to have such a loyal, loving, and joyful companion.
