Background: Miho was rescued last spring from a high-kill shelter in Yangsan, Korea. After spending some time at another shelter, she joined our partner shelter early this summer and has been happily living with other dogs.
Personality and Socialization: Miho is a loving and friendly dog with moderate energy. She is not shy around strangers, though she may bark a few times when new people arrive. However, she quickly warms up to people and becomes affectionate once she gets to know them.
With other dogs, Miho does well, especially with those of similar size and good manners. She’s not a fan of overly energetic or bossy dogs, including energetic young puppies. Miho is a gentle and affectionate girl, but she can be a bit nervous in new environments.
Behaviors: Miho enjoys going for walks but may become nervous in busy or noisy areas. She prefers to do her business outside, although she will use indoor pee pads if needed. Bath time can make her anxious, but she generally allows her humans to handle it. The same goes for vet visits and car rides—she may be nervous but is manageable.
Health and Diet: Miho is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. She receives monthly parasite prevention and hasn’t shown any signs of allergies. She eats dry kibble twice a day.
Ideal Adopter: Miho will thrive in a home with experienced dog owners who have another gentle and friendly dog. A quiet home with a relaxed lifestyle will be ideal for her, helping her feel comfortable and secure. Miho is a very loving and sweet little girl. With someone who has patience and experience, she will truly thrive and blossom.
