Get monthly updates about dogs like Mori and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.
Background: Mori’s journey hasn’t been easy, but her resilience shines through. She was found wandering the streets of a small village in Paju, Korea, and ended up in a high-kill shelter. Thankfully, she was rescued just in time and has since been living in a boarding house with other dogs.
Personality and Socialization: Mori is a sweet, gentle, and affectionate girl with a medium energy level. She’s great with people, including men, and is friendly and sociable. Once she warms up to her humans, she becomes incredibly loving. She also gets along well with other friendly, gentle dogs, especially those her size. While she hasn’t been exposed to cats, Mori was calm and indifferent when she encountered children on the street.
Behaviour: Mori is well-behaved in many situations. She’s good in the car, though she can get a little nervous. She handles vet visits, baths, and grooming without fuss, allowing her humans to care for her easily. Mori enjoys her walks and loves observing people and the world around her. However, new environments may make her a bit nervous initially.
Health and Diet: When Mori was rescued, she had mammary tumors, which were successfully removed during her spay surgery. She has since made a full recovery and is now in excellent health. Mori has undergone thorough veterinary care, is fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm-negative, and free of parasites. She also receives regular monthly preventatives for both internal and external protection. Mori eats dry kibble twice a day and hasn’t shown any signs of allergies.
Ideal Home: Mori would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time. She loves being with her people and enjoys quality time together. Her easy-going personality makes her a great match for first-time dog parents. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving and snuggly companion, Mori is ready to fill your home with warmth and joy!
Mori is available for adoption. The fee to adopt Mori is $580.
