Get monthly updates about dogs like Odong 3 and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.
Background: Odong was rescued from a city pound in Chuncheon, Korea, as part of our “Save 100 Dogs Project” this past spring. Since then, she’s been staying at our partner boarding house, awaiting her forever home.
Personality and Socialization: Odong is a people-loving sweetheart! She’s very affectionate and thrives on human connection. She’s never shy, whether meeting men or strangers, and her favorite activities are snuggling and giving kisses. While she’s okay living with other dogs, Odong doesn’t really interact or play with them. Sometimes she gets bossy or jealous of other dogs, especially new dogs.
Behavior: Though Odong hasn’t had much leash-walking experience, she’s a quick learner and enjoys her time outdoors. She’s also a champ in the car and is well-behaved during vet visits. Odong is generally quiet and hasn’t shown any signs of separation anxiety, making her a pleasant companion.
Health and Diet: Odong is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. She receives monthly parasite prevention and hasn’t shown any signs of allergies. She eats dry kibble twice a day.
Note: Odong was treated for anaplasmosis and has made a full recovery. A couple of years ago during her time at the city pound, she was attacked by another dog and needed stitches on the back of her head. The injury has fully healed.
Ideal Home: Odong would be happiest in a home where she’s the one and only dog, soaking up all the love and attention. Her ideal family would be one where someone is home most time—perhaps a retiree or someone who works from home. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion, Odong is ready to be your devoted best friend.
