Background: Olmang was rescued from a city pound in Chuncheon in August 2024 as part of the “Save 100 Dogs” project. Since then, he has been thriving in a foster home, sharing his days with a cat, a fellow dog, and a nurturing family that includes a teenager.

Socialization and Personality: Olmang is an adorable and gentle little boy with an average energy level. He loves people and has shown great rapport with teenagers and children in his foster home. He also gets along well with other dogs, especially gentle ones, and currently lives peacefully with a cat. His affectionate nature makes him a joy to have around. He particularly loves curling up on people’s knees for a cozy snuggle.

Behaviours: Olmang is a well-behaved and adaptable companion. He is both pee-pad trained and comfortable going potty outside. Easygoing by nature, Olmang has shown no signs of separation anxiety, though this may vary depending on his environment. He is non-destructive and content to relax in his bed when left alone. Olmang enjoys his walks and handles baths, car rides, and hospital visits well. His favorite thing is to sit on people’s laps and get attention.

Health and Diet: Olmang is in good health, with no known allergies or major medical concerns. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He has undergone dental scaling, during which three teeth were extracted. He takes a monthly parasite preventative. Olmang enjoys dry food twice a day.

Ideal Home: Olmang would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can receive plenty of attention and affection. He does well with children, teenagers, and other pets, making him a great fit for families or individuals with gentle pets. A home where someone is around most of the time or one with another friendly dog companion would be ideal to keep him company.
