Oson

**NOTE: Oson is available for adoption in Vancouver, BC.

Background: Oson was rescued from neglect, where her owner kept her in a kennel and often left her without food or fresh water. A colleague convinced the owner to surrender the dog, and eventually, he did. Oson joined our partner boarding house in the spring, where she received comprehensive vet checkups, and vaccinations, and was spayed and microchipped. Now, she lives in her foster home with another friendly dog in Vancouver.

Personality and Socialization: Oson has a sweet and gentle manner with medium energy. She is very sociable and friendly, not shy around strangers. She loves to hang out with people and enjoys sitting on their laps. With her easy-going personality and bright, happy demeanor, she gets along well with everyone she meets.

Behaviors: Oson walks well on a leash. She is smart, obedient and patient, even though she is still young. She is comfortable with baths and grooming and is okay in the car. She is adaptable and eager to learn new things. Despite her youth, she is not demanding or destructive. She is pretty quiet indoors and rarely barks.

Health and Diet: Oson has completed all medical examinations and is in excellent health, ready for her new family. She is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and receives regular parasite treatments. Oson enjoys Acana dry kibbles, made in Canada, and she is fed twice daily. Currently, there are no known allergies.

Ideal Home: Oson’s ideal forever family would be someone who works from home or is retired, with plenty of time to spend playing with Oson and keeping her company. Being young, she would thrive in a home with another friendly dog, as she’s happiest when she has a buddy to play with. A fenced backyard is preferred since she’s still new to leash walking and would feel much more comfortable having safe outdoor access. Oson would be a perfect match for anyone seeking a sweet, mellow fur baby to share their life with, and is ready to put in the time, effort, and patience to help her settle in comfortably.
