Get monthly updates about dogs like Pepper and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.
Background: Pepper was rescued from the Yangsan city pound in South Korea this June and is one of the lucky few who avoided euthanasia. He is currently living at our partner boarding house with other dogs, waiting for his forever family.
Personality and Socialization: Pepper is a handsome boy who loves to play with all dogs, regardless of their size. From big dogs to tiny puppies, he enjoys interacting with them all. With humans, he prefers to get to know them a bit before showing his true affectionate side. He has no experience with cats or young children at this time.
Behaviours: Pepper is new to leash walking but does well once he’s familiar with the area. He’s calm and does great with car rides and baths. At vet visits, though he’s nervous, he handles them well without difficulty. He prefers to take care of his potty business outdoors. Pepper sleeps calmly in his bed and doesn’t show signs of separation anxiety. Though affectionate, he’s not clingy or needy and enjoys playing on his own.
Health and Diet: Pepper is a healthy boy—neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed. He has never had heartworm and has completed all necessary medical exams. He currently eats dry kibble twice a day and shows no signs of allergies.
Ideal Home: Pepper is mature and independent, but his real charm lies in his affectionate and friendly nature. He would love a family that can be home with him most of the time. If you work from home or are home full-time and need a buddy by your side, he may be your perfect match. He’s an easygoing boy who would fit well into many types of homes and is ready to find his forever family.
Pepper is available for adoption. The fee to adopt Pepper is $780.
Note: US adopters are responsible for customs clearance fee, which is approximately $140 USD.
