Scarlet

Scarlet was among the 69 dogs who were rescued from the Dangjin dog meat farm in 2018. She was found in a filthy, rusted cage with skin issues and malnutrition. Not long afterwards, we found lumps in her abdomen that were determined to be malignant tumors.

It took over 2 years, but Scarlet is finally healthy and happy again. She recently completed her final checkup to confirm she is cancer free. She is now more than ready to start the new chapter of her life and find her forever home.

Scarlet is a very loyal, affectionate, and easy going girl. She loves to be pet and will give you her paw to let you know “more please!”. She also gets along well with other dogs as she lives in a boarding house with 80 other dogs.

Her dream home would be one in the suburbs. A house with a fenced in yard for her to run around doing zoomies would be great. She would love a family who would include her in their outdoor activities. Although has now been cancer free for over a year, her new family should be prepared to monitor her health.

Scarlet is a dog meat survivor and a cancer survivor. Can we add “FKD alumni” to her list of achievements? This beautiful girl will make an amazing companion to a very lucky family.

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
