Seojoon and his sibling were discovered as strays in the summer of 2021 in a small village in Paju, Korea. They were sent to a high-kill shelter but were fortunately saved from being put down. While Seojoon’s sisters were all adopted by families in Toronto, Seojoon, who was initially shy around people, wasn’t as lucky.
After living in the shelter with other dogs for 1.5 years, Seojoon has made considerable progress. He has grown comfortable around the shelter staff and volunteers he’s become acquainted with. Although he may still be hesitant around strangers, he will gradually become more open to them with time.
Seojoon currently is in foster care. He is playful and social around other dogs and enjoys engaging with toys. However, he has had no previous experience with cats.
The ideal adopter for Seojoon is a family who has prior experience with dogs and resides in a peaceful home. Having another friendly dog in the household would be advantageous for Seojoon. Ideally, his adopter would work from home, be retired or has an abundance of spare time to devote to him. Seojoon is a lovely young pup with great potential.
