Background: Teenie was rescued from a city pound in Buan, Korea. After spending time at another shelter, he recently joined our partner shelter and is now living with other dogs at our partner boarding house.

Personality and Socialization: Teenie is a very sociable, affectionate, and friendly dog. He loves playing with other dogs around his size and is full of playful energy, showing typical retriever characteristics. However, he has a tendency to chase small dogs, so a home without small animals would be a better fit. Teenie is also wonderful with people—he adores being petted and snuggled, and spending time with his humans is one of his favorite things.

Behaviors: Teenie is a playful dog with high energy. He enjoys playing with other dogs and loves spending time outdoors. He’s comfortable in the car, takes baths without trouble, and enjoys going for walks.

Heath and Diet: Teenie is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. He also receives monthly preventatives for internal and external parasites.

When he was rescued, Teenie had early-stage heartworms, which were successfully treated. He also had Ehrlichiosis and Anaplasmosis from tick bites, but he has completed his antibiotic treatments and is now healthy.

Teenie enjoys Acana dry kibble, made in Canada, and is fed twice daily. Currently, he has no known allergies.

Ideal Home: Teenie would be a great match for a couple who loves spending time with their dog, especially outdoors. He’d do well in a home with another medium-sized, playful, and friendly dog, or with an individual who works from home and enjoys outdoor activities with their dog. A family that leaves him alone for several hours wouldn’t be ideal, as Teenie thrives on being around people or having another friendly fur companion by his side.
