Tori was a stray dog who was trying to survive on a construction site in Korea. The people working there were unkind, and threw stones at him, and eventually when he successfully evaded their abuse, tried to shoot him so they could cook him for soup (which is not an uncommon fate for stray dogs living in rural areas in Korea).
Luckily, Tori escaped their attempts and was rescued by a good samaritan in the area who knew he was in danger. He was sent to live in our partner boarding house where he lives with over 80 other dogs. Recently, Tori completed heartworm treatments. He is now healthy and ready for his forever home.
Given his unfortunate experience with humans, Tori is a bit shy and nervous around strangers, but is also gentle and submissive. He has a goofy side to him and likes to be around other dogs. His ideal home is with a family who has experience with dogs, and another friendly dog to help him settle in. Having a secure yard to frolic around would be great for this wonderful boy.
Tori is a Labrador Retriever and Jindo mix.
